Befriending
At HNCC we understand that a lot of people may still be shielding or isolating unable to still see friends and family members, you may be feeling anxious or scared, you may be worried about your Health and Wellbeing.
If you feel you may need some company and would like a regular chat with someone, our service is here for you. Our service aims to support residents who are isolated and feeling Lonely in Camden with a friendly listening ear over the phone.
We work with volunteers who have had a DBS check, and receive training and support to provide this service for you. We will match you up with a volunteer who can call you on a regular basis. This service is for people aged 55 and upwards.
We can accept referrals from the following: Adult Social Care, GP’s, Family Members, Friends, Carers, Hospitals, or you can just refer yourself to the service using the form below.
